ashlee

I guess my text wasn't going through for some reason. What it basically said was that the thermostat is in Louis' room, and sort of right under the vent. This means that it heats up to the established temperature way faster than the rest of the house. Because of this, we set it super high, like 77 degrees at first, but you said it was cold, so we set it higher, like 80 or so, and then we never saw you again. It will never be toasty warm in any part of the house, so I suggest you supplement with a pair of sweatpants or something if you find that it is still too cold for you.

maybe i wasn't being clear. i brought evan over the day after you said the heating guy came over and fixed the problem, and the house WAS toasty warm, including your bedroom and lous'. we then went into my room and it was noticeably colder, which is why i brought another person over, in case i had just been imagining it, who confirmed it. we were there about 1 pm, and the last time that someone is there is about 8am (right?) so it wasn't a matter of time since it had five hours or so to heat up.

i don't know what's causing it, but i'd like to try and find out, which is why i still need alan's email address from you ASAP.

if he has no recommendations then whatever, but i'm going to contact him once. regardless of what i wear, including sweatpants, it's still super uncomfortable

what exactly are you hoping allan will do? he already sent a guy out who determined that there is nothing apparently 'wrong' with the system, and there is nothing wrong with your vent or anything...he said that the only issue that he can find is that the stat is in louis' room etc etc...
